Fujitsu ScanSnap iX100 Portable Scanner

Lightweight, portable and intuitive

The Fujitsu ScanSnap iX100 weighs just 400g and comes in a small format package. It's able to can scan documents from business cards up to A3 (through auto stitching) through its A4 ADF. It is powered by a lithium-ion battery that can deliver up to 260 scans on a full charge. Also, the device can be charged via a USB port.

Wireless scanning anywhere, anytime

The Fujitsu ScanSnap iX100 can automatically detect Wi-Fi networks at home, in the office or on the go. It is only needed to be set up once after which any regularly visited network environment will be automatically detected. Alternatively, with Direct Connect mode, it is possible to scan wirelessly beyond a network, simply download the ScanSnap Connect Application free of charge. It is available from the official application distribution services.  You can then scan, save and distribute documents directly to an iPad, iPhone or Android device.

GI Image processing engine enhances the scanning process

An inbuilt dual-core CPU helps set the iX100 apart when it comes to scanning performance and reliability delivering an impressive feeding performance. Indeed scanning speeds are maintained even if the target device is not up to the pace or connectivity is lacking, scanning via a Wi-Fi connection is made effortless and hassle-free.

Automated scan features for perfect scans the first time

The Fujitsu ScanSnap iX100 comes with a host of intuitive inbuilt features that help facilitate effortless precision scanning with minimal user intervention. Pages scanned upside down for example will be rotated on-screen. The colour will be detected and scanned accordingly to help file size. Mixed-size documents from business cards to A4 can be scanned and the size cropped.

New features for quick digitization

Dual scan - Scan two or more small-sized documents such as business cards or receipts at the same time, simply insert documents continuously to reduce time scanning. Automatically stitch together a two-page spread - Charts and diagrams larger than A4 can be scanned, just fold it in half, scan both sides and the iX100 software will automatically stitch it back together. Fragile documents or photos can be scanned using an optional carrier sheet.

Two selectable paper paths

Straight path - Most suitable for scanning postcards, business cards, plastic cards, and thicker paper. U-turn path - Most suitable for scanning common office paperwork, especially in a tight or cluttered environment.

Continuous Document Feeding

The Continuous Document Feeding function allows the insertion of pages one after another by detecting when a sheet enters and exits. Set the document face-up into the iX100 and push the Scan button. The iX100 will then proceed to scan the front side after which the page will exit from the top of the scanner. If the paper path is set to U-turn, simply then re-insert the page without pressing the Scan button to scan the other side. After scanning has finished, press the Scan button to save the file.

Make documents mobile

Access documents anywhere and anytime by scanning directly to a multitude of popular cloud services. Such as Dropbox, Evernote, Google Docs and SugarSync. Scanned data will be replicated and viewable from any PC, notebook or smart device.
